Aashur Olson is a violinist from Central North Dakota who also composes and arranges various musical selections.

He began studying violin at the age of seven. During High School he performed as a soloist with three symphony orchestras (Bismarck-Mandan, Minot, and Fargo-Moorhead) on four occasions. He also secured the position of concertmaster in the North Dakota All-State Orchestra for two of the four years that he participated. Aashur is in his third season with the BMSO and a sponsored member this season.

Recently, Aashur has been  combining his love of performing and arranging to create his debut album of Christmas hymns to be released in 2025. The album, Gospel Christmas, features easily recognizable songs such as O Holy Night, The First Noel, and We Three Kings with Carol of The Bells.
