Gospel Christmas
Hey Friends! I have been working on an exciting project recording some of my favorite Christmas Hymns. Each of the instrumentals on Gospel Christmas are original arrangements I wrote for chamber ensembles, most are violin trios. Nine of the ten pieces were recorded on an 1820 Mittenwald violin that was lent to me by Mrs. Jane Capistran while completing my high school studies. After an exciting opportunity to record a couple of my arrangements at Capital Sound Studios in Bismarck we somehow determined that we should record an entire album, and this it the result. Proceeds will go to cover the cost of production, much of which has been donated by an incredible team who have supported me with their gifts, talents and prayers. Beyond these costs, proceeds will assist in my continued music education. Thank you for your interest and support! May you have a blessed Christmas!

FAQ
When will Gospel Christmas be available?
We are working tirelessly to have the digital track available for Christmas 2025. CDs may be available to purchase in the Bismarck-Mandan area.
Can I purchase sheet music for Aashur's arrangements?
I am currently working on the sheet music, and they will likely be available for purchase sometime in 2026. Be sure to sign up for updates so you will know about it as soon as they are ready!
Can Gospel Christmas accompany vocalists or congregational singing?
Gospel Christmas will probably not be a great accompaniment for congregational singing due to it's key changes.
Who is Gospel Christmas for?
Gospel Christmas can be enjoyed and shared by a wide range of people. It's a great introduction into the music of Christmas hymns for those who have not had much experience with hymns, though without the rich language of our hymn writers, And it will be a cherished addition to many Christmas traditions as it can easily be played in the background of any sized gathering.
Will there be more similar albums in the future?
We (my family and those who have worked tirelessly on this album) sure hope so!
